Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

THE MASKED SINGER: Again, lamenting the sanctity of this competition feels fruitless, but why bring on a contestant who could clearly not sing, had no chance to move forward, and couldn’t get through a performance without laughing? And this isn’t even quasi-decent singing. It was bad. And it being a reality star whose parents are in jail? Sigh.

Of the actual singers, I feel like the rest were strong, at least. (The Beets were probably my early faves.)

FAMILY GUY: Well, the Chris and Lois storyline…was so far past the line, the line was basically a dot. (Yes, I’m paraphrasing FRIENDS.) Before it went all-out insane, the episode felt a little more, frankly, desperate than normal with some exceedingly cheap jokes. Alas.
