LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT Season 20 Finale Exclusive Clip: Olivia Has a Request for Nikki

As LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT closes out its 20th season (the drama has already been renewed), the squad tries to put the duplicitous Rob Miller (Titus Welliver) away…but naturally he still has a few tricks up his sleeve.

In an exclusive clip from Thursday’s season finale, “End Game,” Olivia (Mariska Hargitay) goes to visit one of Miller’s recent victims, Nikki Staines (Callie Thorne). Unfortunately, Olivia discovers he has already issued a threat: Miller helped facilitate the murder of the Staines’ family dog.

“The woman said, ‘Say hello to your mom,'” Nikki says in the video below. “Why? Rob Miller knows that I wasn’t going to testify.”

Unfortunately, Olivia has her own bit of bad news—they do need Nikki to testify against her rapist. And that news goes over as well as you’d expect it to.

With LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT’s season 15 finale giving Benson a foster son and Amaro finding himself in trouble (again), season 16 is going to start off a bit differently: Olivia will have to balance her work with her newfound motherhood, while Amaro has been demoted/isn’t working with his fellow SVU officers.

NBC Touts ‘Woman Crush Wednesdays’ in New Ad for LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, CHICAGO PD, and MYSTERIES OF LAURA

Wednesdays nights on NBC will be led by tough female cops (with MYSTERIES OF LAURA, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, and CHICAGO PD), so the network brought Mariska Hargitay (SVU), Debra Messing (MOL), and Sophia Bush (CPD) together to film a promo touting “Woman Crush Wednesdays.” (Which is often a trend on Twitter.)
