Fox has renewed BONES for a 10th season, the network announced. (The show will also reach its 200th episode next year!)

“Over the course of nine seasons, BONES has grown from a hit crime procedural into a beloved pillar of our lineup that resonates with fans in a way that only the best of shows can,” said Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company in a statement. (Reilly had expressed optimism about the show returning just a few weeks ago during his TCA exec session.) “Our viewers have embraced Emily, David and the entire cast and characters of BONES as their very own, and I think they are going to love what Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan have planned for Season 10!”

As if that wasn’t enough news, the show is on the move…again.

Starting March 10th, BONES will return to its Mondays at 8 PM slot. (After this week’s episode, BONES will be off the air until its return to Mondays.) Filling the Friday slot will be KITCHEN NIGHTMARES. Check out what Fox has to say about the new season of KITCHEN NIGHTMARES and the remaining episodes of ALMOST HUMAN.

“Chef Gordon Ramsay’s KITCHEN NIGHTMARES returns for a sixth season on Friday, Feb. 28 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), when he pays a follow-up visit to Amy’s Baking Company.  Last season, Chef Ramsay faced off against the defiant owners…what will happen when Ramsay returns in the all-new “Amy’s Baking Company, Part Two” episode?   Don’t miss the encore of “Amy’s Baking Company, Part One,” on Friday, Feb. 21 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). This season, Ramsay visits struggling restaurants in Queens, NY; Easton, PA; Denver, CO; Arvada, CO; Woodland Park, CO; and Redondo Beach, CA. Ramsay will also re-visit La Galleria 33 in Boston, MA; the Olde Hitching Post in Hanson, MA; and Prohibition Gastropub in Everett, WA.

ALMOST HUMAN comes to a dramatic conclusion with five all-new, action-packed episodes continuing on Mondays (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) beginning Feb. 3. In the season finale, “Straw Man,” airing Monday, March 3 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), Det. Kennex (Karl Urban) and Dorian (Michael Ealy) investigate a string of murders by a copycat of a serial killer whom Kennex’s father put in jail.”

So, what do you think?

Let’s hope Almost Human does well during sweeps and gets a season 2. I think its first season was always going to be capped at 13 episodes, so that isn’t a surprise that it’s ending March 3.

It makes sense, and I hope Almost Human is renewed.

Congrats to Bones cast and crew for renewal for a tenth season. Not only does that mean a 200th episode, but they should also reach that epic 206th – one for each bone in the human body! And perhaps Emily will finally get to direct an episode before the series comes to a close. I discovered Bones late but in the span of approx., 1-1/2 years I have now seen every episode (several times) and own all 8 seasons on DVD. Long live “Bones”.

WOW!!! This is so great for this amazing show. You just have to give much credit to David B and Emily D for being the glue that kept this show together for so long. FANTASTIC NEWS!!!

Yaaaaay I am so happy right now. Dr. B is my favorite character on television and this spring is going to be better now that I’ll have Bones to look forward to on Mondays. Also yay for the back to Monday thing. Man, this just made my day.

I’ve never seen a show that could change as much as this one has and still pack the same punch, every season.

An attention-grabbing dialogue is worth comment. I feel that it is finest to write extra on this topic, it won’t be a taboo subject nevertheless typically individuals are not sufficient to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
