The Bachelorette’s Trista Rehn & Ryan Sutter Expecting Baby

Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, who first met on the reality show The Bachelorette, are expecting their first child later this summer. “We are so happy after two years of trying,” Trista says.
According to People Magazine, Ryan, 32, a Colorado fireman, got the news from Trista, 34, a purse designer, when he flew into Denver International Airport on Dec. 18 after participating in a mountain expedition in Argentina.
“He was completely windburned and his lips were dry,” Trista recalls. “We had a three-hour drive back to our home from the airport and I couldn’t wait to tell him, so I pulled him aside to a quiet part of the baggage claim area and told him there.”
So cute. I’m not personally a big fan of those dating reality shows, but I remember watching the first episode of The Bachelorette with my roommates at the time. I was casually watching when Ryan emerged from the limo to meet Trista and I was immediately smitten. I mean smit-ten. I followed the show religiously because I was such a fan of Ryan’s. He was so cute, adorable and nice…just so sweet. I pulled a Tom Cruise and literally jumped off the couch when Trista chose Ryan.
I’ll admit it. I watched their lavish wedding on ABC the next year, but I didn’t cry. Nope not one bit…ok maybe a little. What can I say? I’m a romantic. HA! Glad to know these kids made it so far, and I’m looking forward to seeing pics of the first Bachelor baby.

that is such exciting news for them! i hoped that ryan would be the one that trista chose and was completely happy when she did. it is nice to see that one reality couple from those shows is still in tact. it gives hope to us lowly non-reality stars that if they can do it on a crazy reality show, someday, just someday, i might find my prince charming in a not so extravagant way.
They are my favorite reality show couple. And Ryan is just so…so…ahhhh! If there is an ideal man, he would be it (don’t tell my husband!). And he’s so nice – i remember during the Bachelorette my co-workers and I found his website and sent him an email – and he emailed back with a super nice note!
I’m really happy for them. And I bet their baby will be BEAUTIFUL!
If John Krasinski and Ryan Sutter were ever in the same room together the world would implode from all the sexy. But, maybe it’d be worth it if I was in said room, alone with, ok I said too too much!
Yeah, I don’t watch those sort of shows. But I’m posting because I must admit I’m quite surpised to see that a relationship formed by a Bachelo/Bacholette show is actually lasting longer than five minutes.
