The grossest death on Bones was The gamer in the grease. That corpse made want puke !

  2. Sarah P. on November 16th, 2010 10:30 pm

Easily the Gamer in the Grease. When they lifted the guy out of the grease and his body fell apart like overcooked meat, I nearly gagged. That was the first and only time I’ve nearly vomited watching Bones – a great feat considering how nasty the bodies get on this show!

  3. Kyle on November 16th, 2010 10:34 pm

Sorry for not being unique, but I also have to say Gamer in the Grease–so disgusting! Especially when thinking about the ribs I recently had for dinner.

  4. alexis on November 16th, 2010 10:36 pm

Cinderella in the Cardboard! It’s meaty, gooey, bloody and flattened. Ughh.

  5. Gretchen Alice on November 16th, 2010 10:36 pm

The body that had been completely broken down by the wine freaked me out big time–the episode title is escaping me at the moment.

  6. Monica on November 16th, 2010 10:38 pm

The grossest dead body they have had was the Gamer in the Grease. That was so disgusting, especially when the skin started falling off of the bone.

  7. Crystal on November 16th, 2010 10:40 pm

The grossest one to me was in “The Truth in the Lye.” I mean, complete yuck! They had to STRAIN for bones. Every time I see that episode, my stomach churns. I still have nightmares about that bathtub and pitchfork.

  8. Erin on November 16th, 2010 10:40 pm

Gamer in the Grease was really gross, but my vote is for The Truth in the Lye. They find the guy in a bathtub, full of chemicals that are literally eating away at the body… that’s the episode I seriously nearly vomited watching- and I think our favorite squint squad found it gagworthy too!

  9. Katie on November 16th, 2010 10:42 pm

The most disgusting body has to be from the Truth in the Lye. When Brennan lifts the bone out of the tub with the pitchfork and the goo drips…Ewwww.

  10. ash55ley on November 16th, 2010 10:44 pm

grossest body had to be the one in “The man in the Morgue “, the body that is hanging on the wall

  11. Ashley on November 16th, 2010 10:45 pm

The Truth in the Lye….it can’t get much worse than liquified human remains. And the pitchfork!!! The only episode in which the remains actually made me feel nauseous.

  12. Katie on November 16th, 2010 10:47 pm

I would have to say the body from The Boy in the Capsule. It was like soup and when Brennan drained it almost made my stomach turn…which is hard to do.

  13. Amanda C. on November 16th, 2010 10:47 pm

The only time I had to turn my head and look the other way was in the Bond in the Boot episode. The decomposition accelerated by the cats was disgusting.

  14. Carrie on November 16th, 2010 10:49 pm

Oh if I had to pick that was just oozing grossness it would have to be The Passanger in the Over, yuck!

  15. Tonya Jewell on November 16th, 2010 10:54 pm

I must ask: Is the prop vegan? 😀 I can’t have a non-vegan chocolate bar prop!

  16. Charles on November 16th, 2010 10:55 pm

I would have to vote for the body from “The Bones that Foam.” Watching the skeleton ooze green foam and slowly become rubbery was absolutely disgusting because I’d never seen anything like that before. There were plenty of other contenders, but that one still stands out in my mind!

  17. Tonya Jewell on November 16th, 2010 10:57 pm

Epic fail! I forgot to answer the question. The grossest death was in “The Finger in the Nest.” It wasn’t gross for the usual reasons. Euthanizing Ripley was gross because a sweet, loyal dog was put to death because of the actions of ignorant, sadistic bastards. /vegan soapbox moment over

  18. Anna on November 16th, 2010 10:59 pm

I hated the Truth In The Lye! It was so gross that I cringed the last time I entered a house being built and it had the bathtub in there already! So gross…

  19. Jen on November 16th, 2010 10:59 pm

When it comes to Bones, I usually have a pretty strong stomach. I even watch it during dinner 😛 But for me, the grossest murder has to be the doctor in “Night at the Bones Museum”; seeing her eye gouged out of its socket was just ugh! I have a weird thing about eyes, and that really made me cringe.

  20. allie on November 16th, 2010 11:00 pm

I think the grossest body was probably The Truth in the Lye. It was really the only episode I ever wanted to puke during.

  21. Whitney on November 16th, 2010 11:00 pm

Definitely agree on Critic in the Cabernet. That body had been in there a while, plus it was poured into people’s glasses & they took a sip. Yuck! Love wine, but after that episode I was leery of it for a couple days.

  22. Karen on November 16th, 2010 11:00 pm

I would have to say the Girl in the Fridge. That would be such a horrible gross way to die.

  23. Becky on November 16th, 2010 11:00 pm

Definitely Two Bodies in the Lab! so gross that the dogs ate the body!

  24. Thayanne on November 16th, 2010 11:03 pm

The truth in the lye. Even in the 6 season I still remember as the most disgusting thing I have ever seen!!! that was just gross ! but if it wasn’t for the bathtub it totally would lose to “the gamer in the grease” I mean seriously those things falling ARGH ! Great work with the bodies Bones !

  25. Katey on November 16th, 2010 11:03 pm

id have to say the grossest would have to be “player under pressure” with body smashed up against the wall behind the bleacher and through the other side of the grate.

  26. Hann on November 16th, 2010 11:04 pm

It’s a tie for me between “Gamer in the Grease” and “Truth in the Lye” both just disgusting. Though, “Gamer” made my mom loose her cookies…so maybe that should come out on top. Lol.

  27. Deanna Miller on November 16th, 2010 11:06 pm

Yeah, the Cinderella in the Cardboard was pretty gnarly.

  28. Deanna Miller on November 16th, 2010 11:08 pm

I would have to go with the Cinderella in the Cardboard also. Sorry if this is a double post, didn’t seem like it worked the first time.

  29. Gigi on November 16th, 2010 11:09 pm

I think the grossest body was in the episode, Two bodies in the lab, when that girl was eaten by dogs. It made me want to cry and puke at the same time!

  30. Gigi on November 16th, 2010 11:10 pm

I think the grossest body was in the episode, Two bodies in the lab, in season 1 when that girl was eaten by dogs. It made me want to cry and puke at the same time!

  31. Deborah Green on November 16th, 2010 11:12 pm

I would definitely have to go with The Critic in the Cabernet. Just the idea of people drinking that wine made me sick to my stomach.

  32. Brooke Pyeatt on November 16th, 2010 11:15 pm

I agree that Gamer in the Grease and Cinderella in the Cardboard were VERY disgusting, but I think the Bond in the Boot had the worst bodies. First, the guy who gets his hand chopped off is being eaten by cats when Bones and Booth show up. Then the body in the trunk of the James Bond car has skin melting away from his face. Deff. made me want to puke a little, twice.

  33. Lisa on November 16th, 2010 11:18 pm

The Truth in the Lye! A bathtub crockpot full of body stew?? Yeah, gross. Not to mention Hodgins having to sift through it all. I did a Google image search to illustrate but there was a shirtless Booth scene that has stolen all the thunder!

  34. christine on November 16th, 2010 11:20 pm

The first that comes to mind is the poor girl eaten by dogs in two bodies, however I’m also drawn to the poor body that was blown up and landed all over Booth , the christmas epi name escapes me now, but landing on Booth and then having those parts and clothes slowly pulled off by Brenan doesn’t get much better!

  35. Corey on November 16th, 2010 11:22 pm

I have to say “The Girl in the Fridge”- not only gross drippy remains- but a truly horrific death!

  36. MFLuder14 on November 16th, 2010 11:26 pm

I think the grossest death was The Cinderella in the Cardboard when Wendell and the team had to scrape her off the cardboard like a pizza. ewwww.

  37. Jenny on November 16th, 2010 11:26 pm

Definitely the body in The Gamer in the Grease. The way the skin just sloughed off like that? And the guts falling out and and and…I’m gagging just thinking about it. ACK EWW GROSS. I’m usually not too grossed out by the bodies on Bones, but that one succeeded in making me throw up a little bit in my mouth.

  38. Meg on November 16th, 2010 11:29 pm

The Wannabe in the Weeds, and more specifically, one scene in particular. These shot of the singer’s severed head stuck in the bulldozer when the eyeball falls loose and giant ants come crawling out. Ughhhh, that image still makes me shudder to this day.

  39. Beth on November 16th, 2010 11:31 pm

Definitely The Critic in the Cabernet for making me temporarily averse to red wine.

  40. Jade on November 16th, 2010 11:34 pm

“Critic in the Cabernet,” because thinking about all those people DRINKING THE CORPSE always made me gag. 😛

  41. Rachel on November 16th, 2010 11:45 pm

THE TRUTH IN THE LYE is the only episode that made me feel ill.
When they stir the gooey remains…. uggggh so disgusting.

  42. Kathleen on November 16th, 2010 11:47 pm

I’m going to have to go with “The Gamer in the Grease” It’s the only one that really made me have to look away from the television!

  43. Michelle Lis on November 16th, 2010 11:53 pm

Critic in the cabaret. I don’t think I can enjoy wine anymore because of that. Or any drinks with sediment in them either.

  44. Jen on November 16th, 2010 11:57 pm

“The Boneless Bride in the River” had the grossest death!! It was so disturbing- just the limp boneless skin of the girl folded into that trunk! YUCK!! Oh and if that wasnt bad enough, it was really gross when Hodgins and Zack inflate the head!!! That seriously creeped me out.

  45. Jana on November 17th, 2010 12:17 am

I’m going to vote for Gamer in the Grease.
I love how no one on screen is bothered by the slithering skin off the skeleton…just inconvenienced by it!

  46. Sabrina on November 17th, 2010 12:19 am

Truth in the Lye, for sure. That bathtub goop was completely awful!!

  47. Katrina Donovan on November 17th, 2010 12:32 am

There are so many to choose from. It’s not very often you find a show that can liquefy or melt a body and do it tastefully. If I had to pick the “grossest” body, it would have to be the Gamer in the Grease. You had melting flesh and the guy just looked like a deep fried limp noodle with hair! Gamer in the Grease is my pick.

  48. Zoe on November 17th, 2010 12:36 am

    Critic in the Cabaret.
“EW!” is all I have to say about that.

  49. Bonesfan47 on November 17th, 2010 12:37 am

For me it would have to be Wannabe in the Weeds and Night at the Bones Museum because the eyes I mean when you see the eye ball fall off in Wannabe in the Weeds I just get so disgusted by that stuff and I can’t stand things near the eyes I always freak out I’m like Rachel on Friends it really really freaks me out so that’s why I chose those episodes and also Two Bodies in the Lab has to do with eyes gauged out so that one goes on the list two and writing this stuff is making my stomach uneasy now so I’m going to stop there.

  50. nicoel on November 17th, 2010 12:47 am

i think “The Critic in the Cabernet.” that was beyond disturbing

  51. Mandy on November 17th, 2010 12:52 am

“Man in the Outhouse” Need I say more?!

  52. Laura on November 17th, 2010 12:59 am

OK, so I totally agree with all of the above comments, although I am surprised that no one has said the one from season 4 epsode 18 The Science in the Physicist. I will never be able to eat chile again thanks to the repeated reference as the victim being Chile con carne. That was pretty gross, although the actual way of dying wan’t all too gruesome. I can stand all of the bodies, just because I love making my own fake bodies for Halloween, but I do get a little creeped out when I see animals knawing on the remains. So I will also say the Bodies in the Book, Helen getting eaten by ants was a little *shiver*.

  53. Megan Gustafson on November 17th, 2010 1:15 am

I dont know if this counts as a grossest death per-say but, The Critic in the Cabernet I thing wins grossest for me, because the people all drank the liqified body! Ewww, but awesome 🙂

  54. Pip on November 17th, 2010 1:38 am

The grossest to me would definetly be ‘Cinderella in the Cardboard’ because it was gross at the start, and then when they use the Angelator to show what happened if the Brennan, Angela and Cam got freaked by it, which hardly ever happens.

  55. Nicole on November 17th, 2010 1:50 am

Mine would have to be from “Truth in the Lye”, in season 2. That body was disgusting! With the body in the bathtub and being eaten away by chemicals and the scalp and skin floating and bubbling in the bath, Ewwww!

  56. Brooke on November 17th, 2010 2:06 am

I would have to say that The Bodies in the Book episode had the grossest deaths. All THREE of them were particularly disgusting. The one they pulled out of the ocean, then the one who was eaten by rats, and the the worst one by far was the one with all of the ants crawling all over it, ewww!!

  57. Leila Inacio on November 17th, 2010 2:28 am

the gamer in the grease… AWFUL for my stomac!

  58. Jennifer Bader on November 17th, 2010 2:31 am

I thought that the grossest death was “Man in the Outhouse”. I’m sorry, but that’s a nasty way to die and even nastier to have to look it over. Just thankful it not real. Bleck!

  59. Owl on November 17th, 2010 2:52 am

Tough Man in the Tender Chicken with the parts in the chicken nuggets (the rest of the body didn’t bug me… but the toe in the breading… ew). Ugh. It reminded me of my mother’s insurance claims stories… and that toe looked a bit too real for me.

  60. Charmaine Lang on November 17th, 2010 2:53 am

The Rocker in the rinse cycle!
It’s especially gross when Cam dives right in and there are bits of flesh just stuck EVERYWHERE… and when bits fall off the top and hit Cam, YUCK!!!
Having your body parts severed in the ‘spin cycle’ and the poor guys ‘eye ball’ *wink* probably made every man watching the episode flinch!

  61. Alexandra Hanson on November 17th, 2010 3:17 am

I gotta say i don’t gross out easily and have a great adversion to mention one someone already said. So I have to go with Santa in the Slush. Not entirely because of the body but also the bird drop soup and dumpster diving.

  62. Carla on November 17th, 2010 3:45 am

The crank in the shaft has to be one of the worst! The thought of the remains being dragged and splattered against the walls over and over again while people rode inside made me squirm!

  63. Roxane on November 17th, 2010 4:49 am

“Two Bodies in the Lab” offered one of the grossest bodies– just imagining what was done to the poor girl before she died made it one of the worst bodies. While the others were pretty bad– dissolved in acid, falling apart as they are retrieving it body parts shattered, crushed, mangled. mummified and liquified– that girl was one of the worst because of the sheer torture the human being endured.

  64. Kat on November 17th, 2010 7:52 am

I would have to say “The Gamer in the Grease”. The slipping and sliding of the flesh off the bones was so bad I thought I was going to puke. They did such a good job on that body. Next would be “The Goop in the Girl”. That was pretty disgusting too. Too be covered with body parts and blood. That was freaking my out. It gave me the shivers. “Rocker in the Rinse Cycle” with the flesh falling off the top of the washer with Cam climbing into it and then to have the testicle falling out onto the floor was really gross.

  65. Chelsea on November 17th, 2010 9:04 am

The Science in the Physicist. A chopped up body in trash bags.??? ewww…
with pieces of human no bigger than a softball. they compared it to something you eat. chicken con carne. grossssssss……..

  66. Kim on November 17th, 2010 10:08 am

The Gamer in the Grease is definately the most disgusting to me. Just the sounds that the skin made falling off and the look of it was uterly disgusting. I have been trying to get my mom to watch Bones and wouldn’t you know the night she finally decided to give it a try was this episode. She was so grossed out by it that she has not watched again!!! I keep telling her that that was the worst one and to give it another try…..we will see.

  67. Shelby Mckeand on November 17th, 2010 11:26 am

When it comes to Bones I usually have a very strong stomach. For example I watched “The Science in the Physicist” and “The Gamer in the Grease” and didn’t even flinch but when it comes to “The Truth in the Lye”…let’s just say I won’t be eating dinner while watching Bones ever again. Just the thought of the bodie in the bathtub being eaten away by chemicals sends a cold chill down my back and makes me feel a little sick to my stomach. Do I even need to mention the skin and scalp floating in the bath? The body was absolutely horrid and disgusting! Over all it was a very well written episode. I think Hart Hanson and Co. get a secret thrill out of hearing how much they gross out their audience. :p

  68. Stephanie P. on November 17th, 2010 11:45 am

I’ve always thought The Truth in the Lye was the grossest. It’s the only time I’ve ever wanted to look away during an episode!

  69. Jenny on November 17th, 2010 12:09 pm

The Truth in the Lye was pretty gross! Whenever i see an old tub i cant help but think about the body and all those chemicals that made up that “soup” in there!

  70. Lindsey on November 17th, 2010 12:22 pm

I’m usually eating dinner while watching Bones, and I it doesn’t really bother me. However, there was one episode that made me put down my fork and look away – The Bond in the Boot! Cats eating a corpse! Ewwww! I couldn’t look at my cat the same way for a week!

  71. Melissa on November 17th, 2010 12:40 pm

Fist off I love this show. I watch every week and all the reruns during the week. I would have to say the grossest death would be The Cinderella in the Cardboard. We are usually eating when we watch, so it is very hard sometimes. You all are doing an awesome job with the show. Keep up the good work.

  72. Amber on November 17th, 2010 12:45 pm

I have to say, a lot of them are really gross, the Gamer in the Grease was an unusually disgusting body, *gags thinking about it*, but the grossest Death, I think would have to be The Man in the Outhouse, as Sweets says, “Shot in the head, punched in the face, dumped in the poop.” All of the gagging, gross comments, and nasty faces in this episode-you just can’t help but smell it at home, YUCK!

  73. Sarah22 on November 17th, 2010 2:40 pm

Has to be the Critic in the Cabernet, when the body was all soaked in wine and purple and rubbery. And it was especially gross when the finger ended up in the wine glass. And also, the other wine tasters were drinking it before she found the finger. That is all-around grossness.

  74. Lindsey on November 17th, 2010 3:49 pm

The Gamer in the Grease! The sound of all that skin sloshing to the ground… disgusting but great at the same time! haha Also, who doesn’t love a little Booth and Brennan banter to go with the scene!

  75. Greys404 on November 17th, 2010 3:58 pm

The Boneless Bride in the River!

When they opened the chest and the skin just floated out? gross but still cool…

also the the bodies in the book is pretty gross with all three bodies in different situations of grossness!

  76. Chris Chappell on November 17th, 2010 5:07 pm

I also have to go with The Truth in the Lye. It’s one thing seeing a rotting corpse or skeletal remains. But any time there is goop or liquid involved the imagination runs wild and makes my stomach churn a little.

  77. Stephanie on November 17th, 2010 7:06 pm

I would have to go with The Rocker in the Rinse Cycle. I loved when Booth thought ‘it’ was an eyeball!!!!! It was gross and funny all at the same time, just like I imagine a body in a chocolate bar would be like!

  78. Tiana on November 17th, 2010 7:44 pm

I would have to say that the truth in the lye was the most disgusting! When they lifted the body out with a pitchfork and were just digging in to the bloody muck?! Ugh! Turns my stomach everytime! Boneless bride in the river is a close second.

  79. Lisa on November 17th, 2010 8:27 pm

Had to be Critic in the Cabernet…..ugh just knowing people drank that guy it was stomach turning. Worse yet for the next few days following, when my patients would wake up from procedures they would ask for grape juice and I would almost gag. I would get a little shiver whenever I would pop open the can and pour it into a cup lol.

  80. Ashley on November 18th, 2010 2:07 am

I would most definitely have to say The Man in the Outhouse… Need I say more??

  81. Karina on November 18th, 2010 3:00 am

The grossesed episode was the one where there was green foam forming on a body and it was like seriously bubbly EWWWWW

  82. Grant on November 18th, 2010 6:20 am

I think the consensus here is Game in the Grease, which is by far the grossest one ever. Takes me back to my teenage years working with that nasty stuff.

  83. Marisa on November 18th, 2010 4:55 pm

I think the gorssest body was from The cinderella in the cardboard….every time we get pizza I think of Wendell getting the body onto the exam table.

  84. Caroline on November 18th, 2010 8:12 pm

Any of them! All of the bodies make me want to either puke or never eat again. No kidding, I cannot eat my dinner while watching Bones. But for the most gross… I would have to say the one in The Bond in the Boot. I mean, the body looked so realistic and freshly dead, because he still had his shoes on, and it was eaten by CATS, which used to simply freak me out, but I can never look at one the same way again. Even Booth seemed grossed out by that one.

  85. Julez on November 18th, 2010 9:27 pm

The grossest one was defintely gamer in the grease, The way the body just kinda fell apart in pieces when it was lifted out was really gross.

  86. Amie on November 19th, 2010 1:47 am

Gamer in the Grease, and Cinderella in the Cardboard were totally gross, but even so, I have to say the ‘The Crank in the Shaft’. Every time I watch it and hear Cam say the line about the body going up and down as the elevator went up and down, I cringe. The mental image that goes along with it, just creeps me out . I know death by staple isn’t gruesome at all, but having your remains smeared all the way up and down an elevator shaft is pretty darn disgusting.

  87. Angela on November 19th, 2010 1:52 am

Oh the Gamer in the Grease definitely! Everyone’s reaction to it was even funnier–Brennan said something like “Oh that’s good for me” or something when the skin and everything just slid off of it. Almost had to put my dinner down for that one.

Cinderella in the Cardboard was pretty nasty too–They had it playing on TNT at a restaurant one night. My 7-year-old said the pizza oven scene was “A thousand times gross” but we just kept on eating. 🙂

  88. Amber on November 19th, 2010 6:02 am

I guess it’s not the most common, but while I am relatively strong stomached and still can’t take TGitG’s flesh-losing guy, Fire in the Ice’s dead hockey player always gets me. For one, I’ll never be able to eat a snow cone again. Heh. Then there’s that he’s all…grey and…slimy. It’s gross. Seriously. I’m perfectly fine with melting lye guy and think the guy in the cabernet’s bones are AWESOME — dude, they’re rubbery, and purple! — but…snow cones. I loved them. A lot. ‘She’s bleeding!’, ugghhhh. Gross. So not cool.

Closely following that for me would be the little guy in Boy in the Bush. It’s just so sad. He’s so little. Uhm, probably not gross, though. So I’m gonna stick with the slimy grey guy whose EYE Bones stuck her finger in. Urgh.

  89. Lenora on November 19th, 2010 11:08 am

The Science in the Physist was probably the worse. When Bones said the body looked like Chile Con Carne. Wow, I wanted to toss my cookies on that one.

  90. Nina on November 19th, 2010 5:36 pm

(As I’m not in the US, I don’t know if I can still enter this giveway – I’ll try anyway)

I hesitated with few other episodes (The Truth in the Lye, The Santa in the Slush, and even last night’s The Babe in the Bar) but I’d say that the most disguting body I’ve seen on Bones was the one in Player Under Pressure. That was really, really hard … The skin was apart from the body, and you could see his face, whereas there was all those flies around and blood and brain … yuks, they must have had fun doing it.

I would say 04×25 The Critic in the Cabernet, mainly because those people actually drank that vat of wine with a human carcass mixed in it.

  92. Tracy on November 19th, 2010 6:42 pm

“The Gamer In the Grease” definitely had the worst death – or at least most disgusting. The skin falls off and the internal organs fall out. This is the episode that taught me never to eat dinner while “Bones” is on.

  93. Petra on November 19th, 2010 6:43 pm

Definitely Cinderella in the Cardboard. Pizza has never been the same again.

  94. Marcy on November 19th, 2010 6:44 pm

I think that the body in the chocolate was the most gross (“The Babe in the Bar”) Of course, that could be because I have such a short memory. I hear chocolate improves the memory, but I might be remembering that wrong. ; ) Couldn’t hurt, though, right?!

I have yet to be grossed out but for me, the ONLY one that made me scrunch up my nose was… the woman in the sarcofages in Night in the Bones Museum (5×05). The bloody, pinched out eye, the zooming in of the camera to it and sticking on it much longer than normal. Yes, that made me wiggle my nose and say ‘yuck’.
All other bodies just make me say ‘coooool’.

  96. Bonesjonsing on November 19th, 2010 6:48 pm

I would have to say the grossest body was Man in the Morgue. The victim hanging on the wall, the blood and the VooDoo implications scared the living day lights out of me. Yes, some of the other bodies have been gross like Truth in the Lye, but Man in the Morgue wasn’t body parts that melted in a bathtub it was the actual victim. We didn’t have to wait for the victim to be identified through a reconstruction performed by Angela, the body was there for all to see, covered in blood, nailed to a wall, it was gross, scary and disturbingly real.

  97. Lisa on November 19th, 2010 6:51 pm

Last night’s episode was definitely the first in the top three~ seeing bodily fluid mixed in with caramel oozing from the chocolate bar with the fresh skeletal remains sawed off in the center. BLECH!!!!
Being a nurse, that really did it for me. That being said, the gamer in the grease from S5 was really gross because, watching the skin and underlying tissues just slide off the skeleton and plopping onto the asphalt, as they were taking the body of the dumpster vat of grease, was just ingeniously disgusting
Now, if you ask my husband, he will tell you “The Critic in the Cabernet” was the most disgusting, in his book- all decomposing body parts mixed in the vat of a delicious deep red cab!- wow-it gave the wine such a thick body/fluid type consistency- and the aroma just wafted through the TV set!!

  98. Kim on November 19th, 2010 6:52 pm

The grossest body on BONES so far has been from Season 3 Episode 14 “The Wannabe in the Weeds.” Not only was the swarm of ants that emerged from the eye socket after the eyeball had fallen out of the socket with a lovely ‘plop’ sound of a head that had been severed from the rest of the body with a tractor and then appropriately ‘de-fleshed’ within the claws of the tractor, but now I can’t even watch the numerous “American Idol” previews FOX shows without remembering that exact scene since that was the head of guest star/episode victim Ace Young. And the fact that after looking at that head that Angela remarks that he was probably cute in real life just added to the vomit-worthy body. So not okay.

For me it’s 5×09 “The Gamer in the Grease”. Watching flesh and organs falling off a human-like body that ended up a skeleton is horrific. Just like Cam said, “It’s so easy to diet around here.”

  100. Jen (NatesMama) on November 19th, 2010 7:12 pm

Oh definitely the body from Gamer in the Grease. Please, the skin slid off the bones. Slid. Off. The. Bones. There is nothing more disgusting than that. Heck, last night’s chocolate body wasn’t anywhere near that gross.

The only ep that has ever succeeded in making me gag was The Truth in the Lye. Body soup just pushed me over the edge.

  102. PorQueSarah on November 19th, 2010 7:52 pm

Two Bodies In The Lab for sure — it makes my eyes hurt to think about those victims having their eyes gouged out with keyes. AHHH. Mega muy gross a mundo to the nth degree! 😀 (Is it weird to put a smiley there?)

  103. Michelle on November 19th, 2010 7:55 pm

Any episode that has had a body with liquefied skin or skin peeling off the skeleton. The Babe in the Bar is probably one of the grossest for me, with all the liquefied organs and skin pouring out of the chocolate and it has turned me off of any chocolate with a crunchy or caramel center.

  104. Casey Frass on November 19th, 2010 8:14 pm

The best death, and grossest death, by far had to be “The Gamer in the Grease.” when his skin fell off I litterally put my dinner down in disgust. Ick.

  105. Poetic_line on November 19th, 2010 10:41 pm

The Body in the Lye almost made me pass out. All that goop and nothing much in it. Horrifying. If I hadn’t found out they did it with chocolate, I could never have rewatched it.

  106. Georgia Adams on November 20th, 2010 10:58 am

for me it has got too be the gamer in the grease….. I have watched it once and don’t think I could face watching it again it was soooo disgusting but it makes bones the show it is. But when the skin slid off the bones I physically felt sick. it easily beats any other episode in the disgusting factor but I have learnt to just not watch bones whilst eating dinner any more ha-ha
