TORCHWOOD: MIRACLE DAY Recap: ‘Dead of Night’

July 24, 2011 by

With the initial set-up complete, TORCHWOOD: MIRACLE DAY was ready to get down to business in last night’s episode. From late-night break-ins to some seriously premium cable-grade sex, it was a busy evening for the Torchwood team.

Rex traced the CIA’s betrayal back to one guy: Friedkin (Wayne Knight). They corner him at home and learn that Friedkin is pretty much in the dark, too. He’s been paid off for years by an unknown entity that contacts him on a direct line with instructions. Rex confiscates the cell phone and makes a getaway with the help of the rest of the team; reenergized, he says, “Whoever made the miracle — now we’ve got contact.”

While the FRINGE producers are notoriously hesitant to reveal too many spoilers, they did make a slight exception when they sat down with reporters at Comic-Con after their panel.

There are so many questions they can’t answer and executive producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman have even kept the fourth season premiere title under wraps…until now.

I asked them in the video below what they could spill about the mystery title and the duo were kind enough to give us the details.

BONES Comic-Con 2011 Trailer

Comments Off on BONES Comic-Con 2011 Trailer

The BONES/FINDER Comic-Con panel might have been canceled, but that doesn’t mean the trailer Fox created for the event should go to waste.

As per usual, the promo showcases some of the goriest cases and grossest moments of the series, but the end also paid homage to the progression made in the Booth/Brennan relationship this season. (Though a certain blonde reporter is noticeably MIA from the video…)

Take a look at the BONES Comic-Con trailer!

BONES at Comic-Con: Look Back to 2010!

July 22, 2011 by

As many BONES fans know, the show and its quasi-spinoff THE FINDER were supposed to be holding their panels right now at Comic-Con. Unfortunately, the panel was canceled earlier this week, so we’re going to have to wait a teeny bit longer for more news on season 7.

While this is in no way going to be the same, Give Me My Remote is looking back at our coverage of last year’s BONES panel to help you get your fix. If you want to relive what went down in 2010, take a look at our live chat from the panel, a press room interview with BONES creator Hart Hanson and some face time with series stars David Boreanaz (Booth) and Emily Deschanel (Brennan).

Crazy to see the difference a year makes, right?!
