Comments Off on ONCE UPON A TIME: Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis Tease a ‘Wonder’-ful Episode 17

ONCE UPON A TIME’s first season has delighted in showing us the different aspects to the fairytale characters we’ve known for years, but an upcoming episode is set to take things even further with a non-fairytale story.

With so many rumors about what’s going on in episode 17, it only seemed to fair to go to the source for some answers to our questions. ONCE UPON A TIME creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis talked with a small group of reporters earlier today to tease what fans can expect from the mysterious hour…

Another day, another SNAP JUDGMENT.

What is SNAP JUDGMENT, you ask?

Every day we’ll pick our favorite promotional picture from that night’s new television episodes and we’ll showcase it here. Then you guys can speculate what goes down in the scene/what you’d like to see happen/caption the pic however you want in the comments section.

So which show amused us today?

THE BIG BANG THEORY!

I’m going to be completely honest — half the reason I chose this picture is because I am incredibly jealous of how comfy Sheldon looks…

Need something else to watch? Check out what’s new this Thursday… (May I recommend PARKS AND RECREATION?)

The first phase of the competition comes to a dramatic end when Randy, Jennifer and Steven reveal this season’s remaining semifinalists.

Winter Wipeout | 8pm on ABC
“You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yeti”
On the finale of the winter edition of “Wipeout,” contestants are eager to shed their winter blues by winning cold hard cash. But first they’ll encounter an absolutely abominable day on the snow-covered course, as they get slap shot by the hockey sticks and terrorized by a family of Yetis. Along the way, “Captain Planet,” “The Whiz Kid” and a “Party Nurse” will try to skate their way to the $50,000 grand prize. Only one will conquer the most challenging obstacle of them all, the Winter Wipeout Zone, but from beginning to end.

Rob | 8:30pm on CBS

Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid on THE X FACTOR’s Shakeups and Rumors

Comments Off on Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid on THE X FACTOR’s Shakeups and Rumors

For many fans of THE X FACTOR’s first season, the January 30th exit of judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, and host Steve Jones was not only shocking, but a disappointing turn of events. The only good news? All sides seem to be respectful about the split.

“I spoke to [Paula] on the night it was announced and I spoke to Steve,” Simon Cowell told reporters on a conference call earlier today. “I was going to speak to Nicole, but we were in different time zones, so we couldn’t actually speak ourselves. All of them, they’ve been incredibly gracious and respectful. They’re friends and there were certain reasons the changes were made. Shows always have to change and evolve over the years, and at this particular time, it was decided to do it sooner rather than later. But it wasn’t anything about them. I think there are huge opportunities for us working with all of them [in the future]. And I’m not just saying that, I think it actually will happen.”

RINGER Recap: ‘Whores Don’t Make That Much’

Comments Off on RINGER Recap: ‘Whores Don’t Make That Much’

Oh, RINGER fans. Where do I begin with this week’s episode?

I, it seems unlike a lot of people, actually liked the twist in last week’s episode. I thought it was fitting of Juliet’s character and added some spice that’s been sorely missing.

But I may have been wrong because this week’s episode, partly focusing on last week’s events, was a dud. The writing was inconsistent, the flashbacks were largely unnecessary and the pacing was slow.

Even when RINGER has better episodes, and there have been some I’ve really liked, I find it hard to get excited for the following week. With episodes like this one, I may even forget it’s on at all next Tuesday.

Seriously, REVENGE? You leave us with a huge cliffhanger and then take a week off? Even Emily Thorne wouldn’t be so cruel. Hopefully my favorite ABC comedies, including THE MIDDLE and MODERN FAMILY, can get me through the night.

Look below all of your TV options this Wednesday!

Survivor | 8pm on CBS
“Total Dysfunction”
Castaways jump off the deep end in an Immunity Challenge that requires a delicate balance. Meanwhile, a group of misfits band together, finding an unlikely leader.

Whitney | 8pm on NBC
“Mad Women”
Trying out a new shapelier bra, Whitney gets more than she bargains for when she entices Alex with her enhanced look. After Roxanne calls it quits with Lance, she asks Mark to help pack up his stuff, but things become complicated when Mark decides to take advantage of the situation. Meanwhile, Lily and Neal begin discussing a pre-nup, but the conversation leaves them wondering if they should even get married.

American Idol | 8pm on Fox
“Final Judgment, Part 1”
Contestants try one last time to impress the judges, singing for their lives to prove who deserves to make it to the next round. For some, it’s the end of the road, but for the first group of semifinalists whose names will be revealed tonight, the next part of the journey is about to begin.

The Middle | 8pm on ABC
“The Sit Down”
Axl, Sue and Brick call a sit down meeting with a shocked Frankie and Mike, accusing mom of being a nag and dad of giving out crazy punishments without ever hearing their sides of the story. In return, all they ask is for a chance to do what they’re supposed to do – on their own – without constantly being harassed by their parents. But the kids learn to be careful what you wish for when Frankie and Mike agree to their terms and find themselves taking a relaxing break from responsibility.

One Tree Hill | 8pm on The CW
“Last Known Surroundings”
Haley seeks help from Lucas (guest star Chad Michael Murray) as Nathan makes an escape attempt. Brooke comes face-to-face with Xavier. Juliain uncovers evidence that assists Dan in his search for Nathan. Clay makes a connection with another patient.

Are You There, Chelsea? | 8:30pm on NBC
“Dee Dee’s Pillow”
When Dee Dee confesses to Chelsea and Olivia that she has a pillow named “Mario Lopez,” Chelsea can’t keep it a secret. Feeling badly about betraying her confidence, Chelsea tries to make it up to Dee Dee by arranging a meeting with the real Mario Lopez. Meanwhile, Melvin decides it might be time to date again. He enlists Rick and Todd to act as his wingmen and takes them to an interesting club where he has befriended one of the performers named “Sandy.”

Suburgatory | 8:30pm on ABC
“Fire with Fire”
When Jill turns to the newly single Dallas for inspiration and support, her marriage to Noah goes on the rocks. Meanwhile, Dallas begins spending a lot of time with her hot younger boyfriend, Yoni (guest star Wilmer Valderrama), which causes tension with George, and Dalia befriends Lisa to get back at Tessa for dating Scott Strauss – so Tessa decides to take action and recruits Kimantha to make Dalia jealous.

Being a pregnant television character is rarely easy — rarely is the baby planned, they always seem to have to deliver in the most ridiculous places imaginable — but the stakes are raised to a whole other level when said character is a cop.

For SOUTHLAND’s Regina King (Lydia), the trouble for her recently-pregnant character comes to a head in tonight’s brand new episode.

What can fans expect? I hopped on the phone with King to see what she could tease…

NBC Sets Series Premiere Dates for BENT and BEST FRIENDS FOREVER, COMMUNITY’s Return, Bumps PARKS & REC and LAW & ORDER: SVU, and More

I hope you weren’t particularly attached to the current NBC lineup, because things are about to majorly change.

First, the good news: As COMMUNITY creator Dan Harmon first tweeted, the comedy will return from its midseason break on Thursday, March 15th at 8 PM.

Unfortunately, that move bumps 30 ROCK, the show that is currently residing in that spot, to 8:30 PM — meaning PARKS & REC will take a break until April 19th, where it will take UP ALL NIGHT’s 9:30 PM slot. (UAN will have concluded its first season by then.)

Oh, but there’s more…
