There’s virtually no new television on tonight and I find that utterly delightful.

Take a look at what your options are…

American Idol | 8pm on Fox
“Semifinalist Round, Part 4”
The grueling singing semifinals come to an end as the final group of 10 singers perform for the judges in hopes of keeping their coveted spot on the show. After tonight, only the Top 20 semifinalists will remain in the competition. Next week, it will be up to America to decide who will make it to the Top 10 and who will be sent home.

Community | 8pm on NBC
“Alternative History of the German Invasion”
After losing out in registration for “The History of Ice Cream,” the study group begins their European History class with Professor Noel Cornwallis (Malcolm McDowell, “Entourage,” “Franklin & Bash”). To make matters worse, the group encounters the return of the arrogant German students from last season, which Jeff (Joel McHale) and Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) faced over the foosball table. Meanwhile, much to Dean Pelton’s (Jim Rash) dismay, Chang (Ken Jeong) makes his return to campus.

Zero Hour | 8pm on ABC
“Pendulum”
With a renewed determination to find Laila, Hank returns from India, searching for new clues while Laila, who is being held hostage by White Vincent, is tasked with repairing the next clock for him. Knowing she needs to help Hank find her, she starts leaving a trail of clues for him to follow. In another face-to-face showdown with White Vincent, Hank begins to realize there is more to this connection than meets the eye — or in this case White Vincent’s eyes. Meanwhile, Hank’s parents seem to be hiding a secret, and with help from the FBI, Hank, Arron and Rachel discover that a famous historical figure holds the key to unlocking the next clock.

Has Fox Finally Scheduled a THE GOODWIN GAMES Premiere Date?

February 27, 2013 by
Filed under The Goodwin Games, TV News

Good news for those of us who were hoping to see the Scott Foley/Becki Newton comedy, THE GOODWIN GAMES: it seems Fox has finally set a premiere date.

#TheGoodwinGames has an airdate!” Foley tweeted earlier today. “5/20 at 8:30pm. Seven consecutive weeks on fox.” (A Fox rep couldn’t confirm the date at this time.)

THE GOODWIN GAMES has had a rocky path to get on the air. First, Jake Lacy was pulled from the pilot and replaced with TJ Miller. Then the series didn’t make Fox’s midseason lineup, followed by the episode order getting cut from 13 episodes to seven.

Are you excited to finally see THE GOODWIN GAMES?

Lots of fun stuff tonight, but what has me most excited is PSYCH’s return!

But in case you aren’t counting down the minutes to that premiere, take a look at your other options…

Arrow | 8pm on The CW
“Dead to Rights”
Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey) learn that Deadshot (guest star Michael Rowe) is still alive and his next target is Malcom (John Barrowman). Malcom invites Tommy (Colin Donnell) to attend a benefit honoring Malcom for his work with Starling City but Tommy refuses to attend. Oliver encourages his friend to mend his relationship with his father while he can. Meanwhile, Oliver struggles to balance his new relationship with McKenna (Janina Gavankar) and his duties as Arrow.

American Idol | 8pm on Fox
“Semifinalist Round, Part 3”
The semifinals continue as the third group of 10 singers perform for the judges in hopes of keeping their coveted spot on the show.

The Middle | 8pm on ABC
“Wheel of Pain”
After accidentally breaking the family room window, Axl, Sue and Brick decide to band together and place the blame on the neighborhood bad seed Glossner children. But Frankie and Mike know that the kids aren’t being truthful and put together a wheel of pain, in which the kids must spin the wheel and land on a consequence, hoping that one of them will break down and confess — which puts Sue’s “Sue-weet 16 Party” at risk. Meanwhile, Frankie needs to please her no-nonsense dental assisting school teacher, Mrs. Armwood (Jane Kaczmarek, “Malcolm in the Middle”), in order to obtain a prime dental rotation spot.

Whitney | 8pm on NBC
“Slow Ride”
When R.J. (Tone Bell) and Alex (Chris D’Elia) reminisce about their former motorcycle days, Alex tries to bring the past back to life. Whitney (Whitney Cummings), not as enthused, demands that Alex not get a motorcycle. Meanwhile, without Mark’s (Dan O’Brien) approval, Lily (Zoe Lister-Jones) decides to order new beer for the bar, benefiting everyone in the end.

Guys with Kids | 8:30pm on NBC
“Divorce Party”
When Chris (Jesse Bradford) and Sheila (Erinn Hayes) contemplate having another baby together, Nick (Zach Cregger) vows to do whatever it takes to keep them from getting back together. Later, Nick and Emily (Jamie-Lynn Sigler) plan a divorce party to remind Chris of his horrible past with Sheila. Meanwhile, Marny’s (Tempestt Bledsoe) younger sister Bridget (guest star Keshia Knight Pulliam) comes to town and is soon hired as Gary’s (Anthony Anderson) assistant, much to his dismay.

The Neighbors | 8:30pm on ABC
“Camping”
The Weavers and the Bird-Kersees unplug for a weekend of camping in the great outdoors, as Marty tries to prove he’s a “manly man” like his dad, Dominick. Debbie and Jackie work secretly behind the scenes to make the trip a success for an oblivious Marty, but all bets are off when both families have a close encounter of the animal kind.

Comments Off on Watch the RED WIDOW Pilot Now!

Thinking about checking out the new ABC series RED WIDOW? The pilot (the first of two hours to air this Sunday) is now online for you to view.

But what is RED WIDOW about? Here’s ABC’s official blurb: “Marta Walraven, a stay-at-home mom in tony Marin County, near San Francisco, has spent most of her life staying out of her father’s world of organized crime. But when her loving husband, Evan, who supports the family by exporting marijuana, is brutally murdered in their driveway, everything changes. Marta’s primary concern is to protect her three children – and yet when an FBI agent promises justice in exchange for her cooperation, she hesitates to go against the “Bratva” (Russian mob) code. Evan’s business partners – Marta’s scheming brother, Irwin Petrov, and their best friend, the hapless Mike Tomlin – were involved in the theft of millions of dollars of cocaine from a formidable international crime boss, Nicholae Schiller. Evan paid with his life, but as far as Schiller is concerned, his debt is not clear. It is up to Marta, as Evan’s widow, to navigate the criminal underworld in order to repay this debt – whatever way Schiller sees fit.”
