Comments Off on The BONES Cast and Producers Tease Episode 200

BONES is telling a different kind of story for its 200th episode — sure, a body is discovered, but the episode is set in Hollywood in the 1950s, and Brennan is a cop, while Booth is a jewel thief.

And since the hour is bringing back a lot of familiar faces, I asked BONES executive producers Stephen Nathan and Jonathan Collier, as well as stars David Boreanaz (Booth), Emily Deschanel (Brennan), Michaela Conlin (Angela), TJ Thyne (Hodgins), Tamara Taylor (Cam), John Boyd (Aubrey), Carla Gallo (Daisy), Eugene Byrd (Clark), Michael Grant Terry (Wendell), Pej Vahdat (Arastoo), Laura Spencer (Jessica), and Ignacio Serricchio (Fuentes) for their best teases about the hour…

johnathon-schaechJohnathon Schaech will guest star on an upcoming episode of SLEEPY HOLLOW, a rep for the show has confirmed.

Schaech — who recently had arcs on STAR-CROSSED and RAY DONOVAN — will appear in “Spellcatcher” as Solomon Kent, a former Puritan minister…who now is a mysterious powerful warlock. Yikes. (Though it’ll be very interesting to see what his interactions with Katrina are.) Schaech broke the the casting news on his Twitter account.

Are you excited to see what Schaech brings to the SLEEPY HOLLOW?

SLEEPY HOLLOW returns Monday, January 5th at 9 PM on Fox.

Comments Off on ARROW: John Barrowman Offers a Midseason Finale Tease

ARROW took a little bit of a detour from the main narrative with last week’s crossover with THE FLASH, but in this week’s midseason finale, things get intense.

Series star Stephen Amell (Oliver) teased a little bit about the action sequence he was filming when reporters were on set for “The Climb,” and fellow ARROW star John Barrowman (Malcolm) was able to offer up a couple of other hints about what’s in store…

FOREVER: Matt Miller Teases Henry Meeting ‘Adam’

December 8, 2014 by

forever-featured

The last episode of FOREVER left off on a sizable cliffhanger — Henry was kidnapped by the anonymous caller, “Adam” — and in this week’s midseason finale, the action picks up right where the show left viewers.

“This is a very big midseason finale episode for us,” FOREVER creator Matt Miller teased. “It’s our biggest mythology episode so far, in that Henry will in this episode meet the anonymous caller — the man that has been stalking him since the pilot, the person that claims to share his immortal affliction. At the end of [the last episode], he is kidnapped in a taxi…and this episode picks up with Henry in that taxi, with the anonymous caller, but he can’t quite see him because it’s dark out, and he can’t see him through the rear view mirror.”

And Adam isn’t just going through these motions to make Henry’s life more difficult — he has a very calculated reason for taking Henry by force.

It’s Christmas time on THE ORIGINALS, and for our characters, there is the potential for the highest highs (a reunion for Klaus and Hayley with baby Hope), and the lowest lows (Esther’s big plans).

On the show’s Atlanta set, THE ORIGINALS executive producer Julie Plec, as well as series stars Joseph Morgan (Klaus), Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley), Charles Michael Davis (Marcel), and Nathan Parsons (Jackson) teased what’s in store for “The Map of Moments”…

BONES: Stephen Nathan on a Possible Season 11 and Whether They’ll Write in Emily Deschanel’s Pregnancy

December 8, 2014 by

bones-season-9-thumbBONES is about to celebrate its milestone 200th episode this week, and the people associated with the show are hoping there will continue to be life in the Fox drama beyond this year.

“All indications are that there probably will be [another season], but you never know until you know for a fact,” BONES executive producer Stephen Nathan told reporters on a conference call today. “We’re just going to keep moving forward, and I know [BONES creator] Hart [Hanson] and I have talked about this before. If we have to end it, we’ll end it. But it doesn’t seem like it’s ready to end.”

“10 seasons, what at the beginning was an inconceivable thought…when in the first 13 [episodes], we weren’t even sure if we’d have enough stories [for those],” he continued. “Here we are 200 episode later. The show has a lot of life in it. The show is not boring to do. We come in going, ‘We could do this or this.’ Which is remarkable in itself.”

As for what may (or may not) end up on the show, Nathan acknowledged that the writers are still debating whether to write BONES star Emily Deschanel’s real-life pregnancy into the show.

BONES star David Boreanaz (Booth) has become the Fox drama’s go-to director for some of the show’s biggest hours, so, naturally, he stepped behind the camera again for the upcoming 200th episode, “The 200th in the 10th.”

And while director-actors always have their work cut out for them, the 200th episode posed a different kind of technical challenge since it’s set in the 1950s. I spoke with Boreanaz about what he did differently this time around…

THE FLASH: Mark Hamill to Reprise The Trickster

Comments Off on THE FLASH: Mark Hamill to Reprise The Trickster

THE FLASH has recruited another star from the original CBS series: STAR WARS’ Mark Hamill.

The-Flash-The-Trickster-Hamill — who played James Jesse (AKA The Trickster) in the ’90s FLASH series (a photo of his first go-round as The Trickster to the left)  — will bring a “new interpretation” of the role to The CW’s hit. In THE FLASH, “The Trickster is an anarchist terrorist con man serving a life sentence in Iron Heights who helps Barry (Grant Gustin) and Det. West (Jesse L. Martin) to foil the city-wide attacks of a wannabe Trickster eagerly following in the original’s deadly footsteps.” Hamill will appear in the 17th episode of THE FLASH’s first season.

“Having Mark reprise his role as The Trickster was on our original wish list when we were planning our version of THE FLASH,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said in a statement to HitFix, which was first to report the casting news. “Christmas and Chanukah came early for us this year when he said yes! We are beyond humbled and excited to have him joining us for another round of deadly trickery!”

Are you excited to see Hamill on THE FLASH?

THE FLASH airs Tuesdays at 8 PM and ARROW airs Wednesdays at 8 PM on The CW.

Death has been a fairly moot point on RESURRECTION, but in last week’s episode, the show killed off someone who (seemingly) won’t be able to come back: Pastor Tom.

On the show’s Atlanta set, series stars Omar Epps (Bellamy), Devin Kelley (Maggie), Kurtwood Smith (Henry), Matt Craven (Fred), and Samaire Armstrong (Elaine) teased the impact of Tom’s death on their characters…
