'Elseworlds,' THE VOICE, and LEGENDS OF TOMORROW

Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

“Elseworlds”/ARROW: I kind of loved that Batwoman saved the day—twice. I also enjoyed that Kara and Kate acknowledged they knew each others’ identities. I’d guess that will come into play next year for the crossover when the team gets in over their head and Kara realizes they need to recruit Batwoman.

I will admit, I was a little bummed that the cops at the end weren’t either A) people from GOTHAM or B) Colin Donnell! They filmed in Chicago! He was right there!

THE VOICE: It was a bit of a hit or miss episode, but I’d wager the top four should be Kennedy, MaKenzie, Sarah, and Chevel. Kennedy did a fantastic rendition of “This is Me,” which is a song that it would be very easy to get wrong. And MaKenzie hitting those Mariah notes was really impressive.

DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: This was peak LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, as a hero got turned into a freaking kitten, there was a puppet timeline, and we saw multiple versions of the Legends. (Also, there was a hilarious nod to the crossover helping elsewhere on The CW.) This perfectly weird show brings me so much joy.
