The 2010s brought up Peak TV, which meant we got thousands of incredible hours of television. As we head into a new decade, we looked back at a few of our favorite episodes that aired from 2010-2019*…
Castle: “The Lives of Others”
What we said then: “CASTLE's 100th hour was a REAR WINDOW homage, but what made it truly special was the long-con Beckett played on Castle to trick him into a surprise party.
For so much of the series, Castle has been the ruggedly handsome, well…man-child…often dragging Beckett and the boys into crazy, ridiculous things. But for Castle's first birthday in a relationship with Beckett, she gave him the best gift ever: a case to "solve" as he was laid up with a broken leg. The hour gave us some great banter as Beckett pretended to think Castle's paranoia about his neighbors was crazy, and helped showcase why this show can be so darn fun.”
