Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: Okay, what re: Keegan Ferrell?? First of all, I am impressed Blake knew it was a Maroon 5 song. But Keegan picked…Blake over Kelly? After singing that song? Oy. It was a good audition, but that feels like a mess waiting to happen.

I really love Kelsea Ballerini, but I’m curious how her taking control of Kelly’s team for a round is going to work…

AMERICAN IDOL: Well, Funke falling down was one of the scariest moments on TV in a bit. That wasn’t even a gentle fall, that sounded like it hurt. Thank goodness she’s okay, but that was terrifying.

My favorite performances of the night? Willie Spence & Kya Moneé, plus Althea Grace & Camille Lamb. And, look, Hannah Everhart was good, but I was deeply uncomfortable with her essentially ditching Claudia Conway because she was hoping for an older partner? It always sucks when bad behavior is rewarded

DEBRIS: Ohhhhhhh boy: Finola knows the truth. And she’s keeping it from Bryan that she knows that he knows. I’ve loved the show so far, and one of my favorite elements has been their supportive partnership. At what point does this secret explode? Will she be able to have as good of a poker face as he does when they have to work together going forward? (And will she confront him before he tells her what he knows?)
