CHICAGO FIRE Exclusive Clip: Brett Supports Casey Through His Health Crisis

With CHICAGO FIRE’s Casey (Jesse Spencer) finally facing his lingering health issues, he has a key person by his side: Brett (Kara Killmer).

In an exclusive clip from the Wednesday, April 21 episode of CHICAGO FIRE,  “Natural Born Firefighter,” Brett goes with Casey to his appointment as he goes through an assessment to see how bad things are.

After talking with the doctor, Casey shares the possible bad news with Brett.

“He said it’s possible the repeat trauma has left behind permanent damage,” Casey tells her in the video below. “It could be I’m having temporal lobe seizures.”

While Casey starts to go to the worst case scenario—which could include having to quit the fire department—Brett tries to calm down her friend.

“He said it was possible, not that it was certain, right?” Brett says. When he confirms, she lays out a plan of action for them, while reiterating she’s there for him: “It’s going to be okay, no matter what. We’ll figure it out.”
