Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

SUPERGIRL: I like how they just super casually drop the only way to save Kara is to GO BACK IN TIME. (Also, have they learned nothing from Barry Allen? Traveling back in time very rarely ends up working out well, even if you have the best intentions.)

PRODIGAL SON: Oh my God, I loved this episode. I expected it to be fun with Edrisa’s club, but it was gross, charming, romantic, and so sweet. Edrisa and Blaze! Malcolm and Dani! Gil and Jessica! Martin and Vivian!

I’m so glad we got more information on Edrisa’s life. And that someone is crazy about her. Gil and Jessica’s dance? Holy…

I do hope the Killabustas come back, in some form. Certainly they can be useful for help with a future case…? (For more on the episode and what’s to come, here’s what Keiko Agena shared.)

BIG SKY: It’s still quasi-early, but I’m not really loving this new arc so far. There are a lot of great performances, but I’m just not drawn into the story the way I was with the first parts of the season. I’m hoping that changes at some point.

NEW AMSTERDAM: Man, the new mom with the tumor broke my heart. And the woman who couldn’t acknowledge she was pregnant. I wanted to hug so many people. (In a hazmat suit, because, well, the world still isn’t safe. But still.)

I had heard about the VBAC calculator being unfairly skewed, but I’m so glad the show was able to dive into the issues with it in an easily accessible way. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I want to live in the world NEW AMSTERDAM thinks is possible.
