LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, THE CONNERS, A MILLION LITTLE THINGS

A MILLION LITTLE THINGS – “stay”– Gary and Camden step in to support Maggie as more cryptic letters pour into the radio station. Regina continues to work through her relationship with her father while Eddie helps Sophie prepare for an audition. Katherine goes on her first official date post-divorce on this episode of “A Million Little Things” airing WEDNESDAY, NOV. 17 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST), on ABC. (ABC/Darko Sikman)
A MILLION LITTLE THINGS

Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

THE GOLDBERGS: I mean, Erica had to know that was going to absolutely spiral out of control, right? But goodness, those two moms will either be a force together or tear apart everything once Erica and Geoff get married.

LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: My heart absolutely broke for Gwyn. I hope he can properly process his trauma and grief over losing his love, Alan. (But, uh, that Chernobyl warning felt like a big, big, big change to the timeline? I can’t say I blame them—who could walk away knowing what you know—but, um, good luck, Legends.)

THE WONDER YEARS: I loved the comic book element of the episode…it looked gorgeous.

I also really appreciated that Dean had to contend with the fact he wasn’t always a hero in others’ storylines. Yeah, he may be a good kid—and he is—but bullying his bully…is not great. And it did make him the villain, at least to a degree, in that moment.

THE CONNERS: Man, poor Harris. While it was absolutely too soon for her to move in with her boyfriend, she’s now alone? And essentially homeless? I hope she finds a safe place to land ASAP or, preferably, finds it in her to admit to Darlene what’s actually going on.

I appreciate that as Louise and Dan’s lives are blending further together, they’re also respecting the (regularly irrational) needs of his (adult) children. The compromise that the living room and dining room stay the same while they make the bedroom their own—with brand new furniture—was both lovely, practical, and a really smart way to keep the most established sets from being drastically changed.

I’m absolutely going to have nightmares about drones carrying chili…

A MILLION LITTLE THINGS: Maybe it’s just because I love Erin Karpluk (BEING ERICA forever), but…I found Eddie and Anna cute? Complicated as hell given the Sophie of it, but their chemistry was so sweet. It hurt to see Eddie think she was rejecting him because of his chair, but, nope, she was running away because of Peter’s actions. I wouldn’t blame them—or the show—if they don’t pursue it, but there was sweet chemistry there and I hope they revisit it at some point.

New stalker theory: The girl who bumped into Maggie recently (her fan) is related to the dead former patient Maggie mentioned. (Also, how lovely Maggie’s boyfriend was chill about Gary hanging out to protect her. It probably helps he gets how serious the stalking is—and, dear TV gods, don’t let him be her stalker—but it was still remarkably mature and refreshing.)

I can’t believe Katherine got so thoroughly ditched on her date. It was so cruel. Fingers crossed her next attempt goes better.

Also, can Regina catch a break, please?
