Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

THE GOLDBERGS: As much as the loss of Pops is still felt, it didn’t hit me until the episode how it might impact Adam’s enjoyment of Halloween. I’m glad he got a bit of that fun back by the end of episode.

CHICAGO MED: I know Stevie is trying to help her mom, but given this is a TV show, this is absolutely going to backfire on her, isn’t it? Ugh, I feel awful for them both.

LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: Man, I missed so many of the original Legends. It wasn’t quite enough, but lovely to get little glimpses of them throughout the years. (And Beebo!)

WONDER YEARS: I can’t stop thinking about what might be the weirdest food to bring on a camping trip after this episode.

CHICAGO FIRE: Laughed out loud at the Before Google joke, sorry to the OGs. But how insane to see them have to deal with all of the emergencies without the help of technical assistance…the literal map to keep track made sense, but eesh, I can’t imagine your entire way of work being thrown decades into the past with no warning.

THE CONNERS: Wait, but a virtual honeymoon sounds delightful right now? It doesn’t exactly make up for the real thing, but it’s a good way to not have everything be a total loss.

CHICAGO P.D.: I’m going to be honest, I was worried Voight and Ruzek really were going to let Sal off the hook. I would have understood where they were coming from (not saying I agree, but I would have gotten it), but at the same time, he was wrong and needed to be stopped. I’m glad we got to see a little bit of how this is impacting Ruzek, because this does hit in him a different way since he grew up with this culture/in this way of life.

A MILLION LITTLE THINGS: I’m glad Gary’s secret is out now, because keeping that quiet—while also struggling with losing Darcy and all of his plans for the future—would have been too much.

As much as I get the podcast being taken down is a way to keep everyone protected…why should anyone trust Peter? He can blackmail everyone forever, at this point, as long as the cops don’t know.

I’m really happy Katherine felt comfortable enough to be open with her sexuality. She has a lot going on, so I don’t expect her to immediately jump into dating, but she deserves some happiness.
