Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

THE GOLDBERGS: Poor Adam, messing up the recording of the game. But it was a lovely opportunity for the show to do a more overt homage to (the original) THE WONDER YEARS. (Also, I melt every time Murray is a softie toward his family.)

CHICAGO MED: I appreciate what we’ve seen of Dylan so far, mixing his past police experience with his current doctor work. I still wish they had introduced the new people a bit more staggered so we could get to know them a bit better/more, but I think he’s my favorite so far.

Uh, Goodwin, it absolutely feels like this is too much for Will already.

LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: Ava’s freakout was a whollllllle mood. And, yeah, when you break the timeline that much…it’s probably justified to just lay down in the middle of the road and lose your mind a little bit?

THE WONDER YEARS: Man, I loved that Dean got to see what a superhero Lillian is. I doubt it’ll change much, long-term, given the era, but he’s right that while his dad was working hard, his mom was doing even more plus taking care of the house. (But I did love hearing Dulé Hill’s take on “With a Little Help From My Friends,” which made it the second cover of the song during ABC’s comedy block.)

CHICAGO FIRE: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Casey can’t leave…right? (I mean, he absolutely can, especially with next week being episode 200, but…yeah.)

THE CONNERS: Rain on your wedding day is one thing, but..tornado??? I’m glad that Dan and Louise tied the knot, even if it was one hell of a mess.

A MILLION LITTLE THINGS: Well, I’m officially worried about Gary. I mean, I was worried about him before, but as bad as that was, now Darcy has left him and Peter wants to meet? This is bad, bad, bad, bad. And I get where Darcy is coming from: Their entire life would have a sword dangling over it, because how could she trust anything would be safe or certain when there was always the possibility Gary would get caught? But…eesh.

I’m glad Eddie got some closure, though. And the fact the person who hit him wasn’t doing it intentionally or for a bigger reason is really good, comparatively speaking. Hopefully now he can move on.

CHICAGO P.D.: Tracy Spiridakos was incredible in this episode, as Upton just absolutely (understandably) buckled under the weight of the Roy secret. I’m also really glad that Halstead figured out what happened—and holy Voight hit?! Deserved, but oh boy—so they stand a chance at any kind of healthy relationship/maybe this won’t eat Upton alive. But what an absolute mess.
