FBI: Rick Eid Teases a ‘Really Emotional’ Deep Dive into Maggie and OA’s Partnership

“Under Pressure” – Maggie goes undercover working in a bar to investigate an anti-government group that regularly gathers there and has several members suspected in a series of bombings. The case opens old wounds for her when a single father on the periphery of the group begins to fear he’s in danger of becoming collateral damage, on the CBS Original series FBI, Tuesday, Feb. 1 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*.

On the Tuesday, April 19 episode of FBI, the team finds themselves racing against the clock when they discover terrorists may be in possession of a deadly gas.
“They’ll be up against a very lethal, dangerous, chemical weapon,” showrunner Rick Eid previews. “They’re trying to get off the street and make sure it doesn’t wreak havoc in New York City.”
Despite the very high-stakes of the case, the hour serves as a deeper character study of Maggie (Missy Peregrym) and OA (Zeeko Zaki), both individually and as partners.
“Ultimately, what the episode’s really about is the the relationship between OA and Maggie, and how much they care about each other,” Eid shares. “How much they trust each other, how important they are to each other. It’s an episode to explore the depths of their relationship in the context of this chemical weapon search.”
Of course, as the promo teased, things take a turn for the duo and they find their lives in danger. “It’s really intense,” Eid teases. “It’s really emotional, and it’s really scary.”
