FBI Maggie back

“Ready or Not” – Maggie returns from medical leave in time to help the team investigate two homicides: a law student on track to attend the FBI Academy and a young man with possible gang ties. Also, an inadvertent revelation from Maggie causes OA to worry that she is rushing back into the job too quickly, on the CBS Original series FBI, Tuesday, Nov. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+. Maggie (Missy Peregrym) is back on the Tuesday, November 15 episode of FBI, after spending the last few months recovering from her on-the-job poisoning.

“It is definitely an emotional return, character-wise and actor-wise,” FBI star Zeeko Zaki (OA) previously told Give Me My Remote.

While viewers haven’t seen Maggie since April—when she was comatose, in the immediate aftermath of her attack—she’s “eager to return to work” in “Ready or Not,” FBI boss Rick Eid says via email.

But there’s no easing into things: The team instantly catches a double homicide case, which requires Maggie to get very, very involved—including going undercover. “In classic fashion, she’s ready to dive headfirst into the field,” Eid says. “But her medical scare was no joke, and she’s still recovering both mentally and physically.”

Fortunately for Maggie, she’s got OA on her side. And while she does open up to him a bit, he also sees things that raise a few red flags, leading to some uncomfortable moments between the just-reunited partners.

“There’s gonna be some bumps in the road,” FBI’s John Boyd (Scola) previously teased. “And OA is in the middle of that with her. The rest of the team is kind of on the outer side of it, feeling the ripples, and trying to support and help deal with that.”

Looking ahead, the team might have to contend with a whole different kind of tension. “We will get to see a new side of [Alana De La Garza‘s Isobel] in an upcoming episode, when an investigation leads her to reconnect with an old FBI partner with whom she has a romantic past,” Eid teases.

FBI, Tuesdays, 8/7c, CBS
