FBI: MOST WANTED: Alexa Davalos to Exit

FBI: MOST WANTED is undergoing another cast shakeup: Alexa Davalos, who joined the CBS series in season 3, will not return for the upcoming fifth season, a source has confirmed to Give Me My Remote.

Davalos played FBI agent Kristin Gaines on the series; it is unclear about whether her storyline will be resolved on- or off-screen when the strikes end.

FBI: MOST WANTED has undergone a number of casting changes in its four seasons on the air. (Five regulars have departed from the core team, including original series lead Julian McMahon.)

“I don’t think the core of the show ever really changes and it never will change,” FBI: MOST WANTED showruner David Hudgins previously shared. “It’s about getting these people and bringing them to justice, and doing it with the team in various iterations. We looked at it as, yes, it was challenging, but also it was an opportunity…We looked at it as an opportunity to explore other avenues with the characters.”

Deadline was first to report the casting.
