About Last Night…THE VOICE and KITCHEN NIGHTMARES

Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: This was probably the best Knockout episode of the season so far. The Team Niall Knockout was rouuuuuuuugh in that it felt the most evenly great. I’m glad all three stuck around. But it was a good night. (A little weird that one of Gwen’s groups got so cut down, but…it happens.)

KITCHEN NIGHTMARES: This was a deeply, deeply difficult episode to watch. Chris has serious issues, and while I absolutely have sympathy and empathy for him, the way he was treating Tess was horrific. And it’s awful the people she loved protected and prioritized him rather than support her.

I’m glad Gordon prioritized getting Tess away from the situation and taking care of her own precarious health. I’m glad he emphasized that Chris needed therapy. I’m glad they got away from the restaurant and hope they can find a way to be happy and healthy, whether it’s together or not. But Tess should never be treated like that again, under any circumstance.
