LAW & ORDER: VEEP’s Reid Scott Joins Season 23

VEEP vet Reid Scott has joined the upcoming season of LAW & ORDER as a new detective. Scott will portray the partner of Mehcad Brooks‘ Jalen Shaw. (Jeffrey Donovan, who played Shaw’s former partner Cosgrove, has exited the series.)

Scott’s previous credits also include THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL, and AMERICAN HORROR STORIES. He also participated in the Wolf Entertainment podcast DARK WOODS.

The news was first reported by Deadline.

The series, which will celebrate its 500th episode in 2024, is set to return Thursday, January 18, 2024.
