Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

I CAN SEE YOUR VOICE: As much of a bummer as it is to see the final singer be good and the contestant not take the gamble, it’s always better than the contestant risking it all and being burned. But, wow, The Roofer was great. What a voice!

WE ARE FAMILY: Yeah, this show is going to get bumped to the “catch up on DVR” list for now. There is a good core there, but it just isn’t working the way I want yet. And with scripted shows returning next week, this will have to take a back burner.

And, I’m sorry, the final person was hard. I’m a sports fan—clearly, if you follow me on social media—and even I didn’t know who it was until the last clue, because they literally showed up a camera and I went, oh, duh, Cam Newton. But that’s still hard. (Also may not bode well that episode 2 featured the final celeb not being guessed…I would have thought they might front-load a few winners?)
