Flip Mino HD Camera – Do You Have One?

Sorry for the interruption in TV talk, but I had a question that I thought I would throw out to all of you. I have not one but two Flip cameras and I love them. I hardly leave home without them. You never know when you’re going to want to have a camcorder ready to go, right?

Lately I’ve heard a lot of buzz about the Flip Mino HD camera. I like the idea of having a better quality video especially since the picture quality is lost when you upload the videos to YouTube and other type of video servers.
So my question is…do YOU have a Flip HD camera? Is the picture quality that much better? Is it worth it for me to go out and buy one? If you have any HD vid samples you can share with me it would be awesome.

I can’t help with the HD decision but I just wanted to join in and say how much I love my flip camera as well. I have one for use in my classroom and its so easy a preschooler can literally do it.
Kath – I don’t know if you would remember me but I met you and Ducky last year at Paley. I was one of the people who geeked out and asked to take a picture with you guys. It was one of the highlights for me. Anyway you had your Flip camera then and we were talking about it. I went out and bought one the next day and I love it. If you end up getting the HD version will you let me know if its any good. Maybe I will get one too.

I have a Flip HD and I love it. I’ve used the normal version and there’s definitely a huge difference. Both the sound quality and the picture quality is improved for the HD, and if you ever make your videos into DVDs it looks a lot better. Plus, on Youtube there’s sometimes a “Play in HD” option, so then it can look great online!
I want to buy this cam but I need something that can be remote controlled ?
can I get some suggestions ?
