THE VOICE Adds Camila Cabello as Season 22 Coach

Camila Cabello is joining THE VOICE as its newest coach, the singer announced on Tik Tok.

The news comes days after Gwen Stefani announced her return to the show via a duet video with long-time coaches Blake Shelton and John Legend. (Stefani previously coached in seasons 7, 9, 12, 17, and 19.) Cabello used the same duet function to reveal she would fill the fourth coach seat in season 22.

This means Kelly Clarkson, who has been with the series since season 14 and won season 21 with Girl Named Tom, will not be a part of the coaching panel for the first time since 2018. (Reps for the show have not responded to a request for comment; Clarkson, for her part, has kept busy since THE VOICE’s season concluded, co-hosting AMERICAN SONG CONTEST, as well as hosting her daily talk show THE KELLY CLARKSON SHOW.)

Cabello previously served as an advisor for Team Legend in season 21. She previously competed in Fox’s version of THE X FACTOR.
