CHICAGO P.D.: Marina Squerciati Teases the Theme for Season 10

There are changes afoot at CHICAGO P.D., as the Intelligence Unit is gaining one member, while losing another.

But amidst the changes, the team will continue on with their jobs. “The writers get together and they think of a theme for every season, and this year it’s ‘savior,'” CHICAGO P.D. star Marina Squerciati, who plays Burgess, told reporters in the video below. “‘Can the broken be saved?’ So filtered through that lens, you get new story and different things to do.”

“Yes, it’s a procedural there are some themes that come back,” she continued. “But I think it’s your job as an actor to approach it differently, because season 8 Burgess is certainly a different character than season 10.”
