Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: Well, I’m not entirely sure how this coaching lineup is working—it’s a lot of changes at once, even if most have been coaches before—but Chance singing a John Legend song with a contestant and winning them over was genuinely funny.

Really loved OK3, and I can’t believe the show got me with the TBD cliffhanger. Like, they do this constantly, but the 90-minute format made it so I was actually thrown this time. (I’m also very curious to see if we get a lot more duos and groups this season because of Dan + Shay.)

DEAL OR NO DEAL ISLAND: Hmmm…I’m not sure what to make of Kim.

The premiere set up a lot, and I mostly enjoyed it, so it’ll be interesting to see what episode 2 looks like. The introductory challenge felt pretty tame, but the previews make it seem like it’s going to escalate quickly. It’s also kind of terrifying that the only two people with their own fate in their hands are whomever wins the weekly challenge and whomever plays the game? Because everyone else could be taken out in a second if the DOND game goes the potential eliminee’s way.

(I’m rooting for Claudia, after BEING on the game for so long. But it’s also funny Boston Rob thought he could be anonymous on this show?!)
