Comments Off on THE VOICE: Catching Up with Season 2’s Jamar Rogers

As a proud member of Team CeeLo, Jamar Rogers won over viewers during THE VOICE’s second season with his bright personality and fantastically unique take on popular songs.

It’s been a little over ten months since Rogers was eliminated from the competitions in the semi-finals, so at the season premiere kickoff for THE VOICE’s fourth season, I talked with the always-joyful singer to see what he’s been working on…

CASTLE Episode 100: Andrew Marlowe Reflects on the Show’s Early Years and Teases ‘The Lives of Others’

March 29, 2013 by

A little over four years ago, a ruggedly handsome fiction writer named Richard Castle found a muse in the form of a kick-ass — yet vulnerable — NYPD detective Kate Beckett. Sparks flew, he pulled some strings with his buddy (the mayor), and he got permission to follow her around for the foreseeable future…as research for a book, naturally.

Now, CASTLE is just a few days away from celebrating a massive milestone: episode 100. In the past 99 episodes, there has been love (Castle/Beckett), loss (RIP, Montgomery), weddings (Ryan/Jenny), hookups (Lanie/Esposito), closure (Beckett’s mother murder case), and so much more.

To reflect a little bit on how far the series has come, I spoke with CASTLE creator Andrew Marlowe about his memories of the show’s early years, important moments, and the special 100th hour…

Comments Off on CULT: Matt Davis, Alona Tal, and Jessica Lucas Tease ‘The Good Fight’

CULT has bent reality all season as the series swapped between the show and the show-within-a-show, but in tonight’s brand new episode, they shake things up even more: a drugged Skye has severe hallucinations.

“She’s in a dream and she’s dealing with a lot of her demons,” Jessica Lucas (Skye) teased to reporters on set while taking a break from filming the scene last year. “Her father and Billy and Kelly represent different fears of hers and she gets to relate to them in a very interesting way that’s very emotional. And a lot of fun for me to play!”

Curious about a little more info? CULT stars Matt Davis (Jeff) and Alona Tal (Kelly/Marti) had a few more teases…

Comments Off on ONCE UPON A TIME: Potential Wonderland Spinoff Presentation Finds its Alice, A Love Interest, and Gets Title

And the final pieces of the potential ONCE UPON A TIME quasi-spinoff presentation set in Wonderland have fallen into place: an ABC rep confirms that Sophie Lowe will play Alice, Peter Gadiot has been cast as Cyrus (Alice’s mysterious love interest), and the series presentation is working under the title ONCE: WONDERLAND. The news was first reported by Deadline.

The hiring of Lowe and Gadiot follows Michael Socha’s casting earlier in the day as The Knave of Hearts.

ONCE UPON A TIME: Michael Socha Cast in Spinoff Presentation

Comments Off on ONCE UPON A TIME: Michael Socha Cast in Spinoff Presentation

The potential ONCE UPON A TIME quasi-spinoff is starting to take shape: a representative for ABC confirms that Michael Socha has been cast as one of the leads in the upcoming pilot presentation for an Alice in Wonderland-centric spinoff.

According to Deadline (who was first to report the casting), Socha will play The Knave of Hearts, “a sardonic adventurer, a man of action, a loner and a heart-breaker” in the four-scene presentation ONCE UPON A TIME co-creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis are working on with Jane Espenson and Zack Estrin.

There’s no definitive timetable for when we might see this potential spinoff, but if ABC likes what they see, Horowitz and Kitsis insisted earlier this month that they wouldn’t be recasting Sebastian Stan as the Mad Hatter, and the intention was for this to be a one-off, limited series type of thing.

Are you hoping we get to explore more of the Wonderland world in a potential spinoff?
