The shows within the Dick Wolf universe—the LAW & ORDER, ONE CHICAGO, and FBI franchises—are no strangers to crossing over. But for new ORGANIZED CRIME star Brent Antonello, he just missed the major franchise-wide LAW & ORDER crossover event…much to his chagrin. (“Gimme Shelter” kicked off the season for all three shows; Antonello’s Jamie joined OCCB in episode 2.)

“It’s funny because I met Mr. Wolf at the Wolf [Entertainment holiday] dinner, and that was like the first thing he said: ‘Don’t get upset with all the crossovers,'” Antonello recalls. “And I looked at him and was like, ‘I don’t have an issue with the crossovers! I would love to work with other people, [too].'”

Since the season-opening event, the shows have mostly stayed within their respective worlds—OC’s Christopher Meloni (Stabler) appeared on a recent episode of SVU, though not in an official crossover capacity—but Antonello has his own hopes for who he’d like to eventually act opposite.

“[LAW & ORDER’s] Jeffrey Donovan—I’m a big fan of Jeffrey’s, just because of his character work that he’s done in the past,” he shares. “And [SVU’s] Mariska [Hargitay]. I mean all of them—they’re all so great. I hear nothing but great things about every single one of them. And just to be on that SVU set or that LAW & ORDER mothership set, it would be mind-blowing.”

“Just to be a part of that universe…every actor would kill to be a part of this,” he continues. “It’s been such a pleasure, and I still can’t believe I get to be a part of this universe. I would say one line on the mothership or be in the background. This has been a very cool experience. I don’t take any of it for granted.”
