On the Thursday, April 6 episode of LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME, the task force is working a routine drug bust when they stumble across something more complex and horrifying: a string of robberies that target gay men. And making things even more complicated? A cop, who has yet to come out, is among the victims.

In the exclusive clip from “TAG:GEN,” below, Jet (Ainsley Seiger) fills in her colleagues about how far this crime spree has spread so far.

“Looks like over a dozen, at least,” Jet explains. She shares that they now have information from all the cases that match their M.O., and the men “connected with perps on hookup apps, where the perp dosed our vics with GHB, and stole their cash, jewelry, and credit cards. Most of them were just left on the street.”

“Why are we just hearing about this now?” Reyes (Rick Gonzalez) asks.

“Cases from different precincts,” Stabler (Christopher Meloni) answers. “No one put it together it was a coordinated effort.”

And, unfortunately, they don’t have any solid leads: Thanks to the GHB, which has an impact on memory, the descriptions of who the cops are looking for have been unreliable.

When Whelan (Brent Antonello) questions if it’s a hate crime, Bell (Danielle Moné Truitt) notes they need more details. Bell’s also not whether the drug dealer they did catch, Paolo (Shalim Ortiz), has ties to the larger conspiracy, but he’s not talking, so they need another game plan—and she has an idea of what their next steps should be.

Watch the team strategize…
