Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

STARS ON MARS: If/when the show returns for a second season, I hope they rejigger the finale set-up. While I do think the right trio made it to the end, it’s also essentially rigged so the original trio could prioritize each other. I don’t know what the right move is—the trivia-to-assembling a satellite was more fair, but not quite as representative of the show. But hopefully they rejigger things going forward.

CLAIM TO FAME: It does feel a little unfair that Gabriel played it so well and then got so exposed at the end. (Also, Monay recognized a Donny and Marie lunchbox?!?) But it also felt like they had to make it a little more obvious in the final couple of episodes, because people were really floundering.

(Side note: People recognized J.B. Smoove from COMMERCIALS and not CURB??????? I…)

But what a fun final three! What a great outcome. Gabriel was able to be deceptive the longest, so he probably “deserved” the win. (Cannot believe Chris was guessed wrong three times, though. I imagine that’ll be a record on the show for a very, very long time.)
