“Supply Chain” – A drug deal between two teens is interrupted when a middle-aged woman abducts them at gunpoint, sending the Fugitive Task Force on the hunt to rescue them. Also, Nina and Scola (FBI) bump heads over parenting styles, on FBI: MOST WANTED, Tuesday, April 9 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs). FBI fans will get a little glimpse of Scola (John Boyd) at home with Nina (Shantel VanSanten) and their son, Dougie, on the Tuesday, April 9 episode of FBI: MOST WANTED, “Supply Chain.”

In the hour, the duo don’t exactly see eye-to-eye about how they should be raising their infant.

“It was really fun to get to do that,” Boyd previews to Give Me My Remote in the video below. “Shantel and I had a talk about what the purpose of these scenes are and what we get to show in terms of behind-the-curtains lives of agents and the two of them as parents.”

“The trap is, with our show, I know…the times where you get to portray [a look] into your character’s private, personal life, you want to be presenting yourself as favorable to our fans,” he continues. “You want the fans [to think] this person is a good guy. What’s so fun about Shantel is she’s really like, ‘Let’s go all in on the conflict. Let’s go after this.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, I think we should.’”

Though the duo bicker about something that appears to be harmless, they’ll have to see if they can get to the root of the actual problem.

“Those fights, they happen, right?” Boyd acknowledges. “It’s not about the shoes, not about the toothpaste in the drain. It’s about what is the underlying thing involved here and how do these people navigate it? And so that’s what was fun to play. It’s just finding that real banter and conflict. And that we get to portray: realistic parenting, conflict, healthy repair, emotional intimacy—[it’s] so important.”
