On the Thursday, April 18 episode of LAW & ORDER, a chef is killed in his own restaurant…and there’s no obvious suspect.

Making matters more complicated? “There’s not a lot of data in the system, which is kinda weird,” Shaw (Mehcad Brooks) tells Dixon (Camryn Manheim) of their victim in the exclusive clip from “Inconvenient Truth” below. “Nothing tracks back before 24 months, or so.”

Riley (Reid Scott) joins them and shares what he’s discovered: They’ve confirmed the statement of their sole eyewitness, and  the victim was alone for about 20 minutes.

When Dixon asks if it’s possible the eyewitness—a waiter—did it, the detectives are clear they don’t like him for it…his story seems to check out and there’s no blood or other evidence on him.

Thankfully, Violet (Connie Shi) has something that may help.

Watch the scene below!
