LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME Exclusive Clip: Elliot and Bernie Take a Field Trip…to a Crime Scene

A casual Friday night in for Elliot (Christopher Meloni) and his mom, Bernie (Ellen Burstyn), is interrupted on the Thursday, May 4 episode of LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME, “Pareto Principle.”

After Elliot gets a call about an open homicide, he acknowledges it’s late and he doesn’t want to have to call Bernie’s caretaker to come back over.

“I can stay here alone,” Bernie insists in the exclusive clip below.

“I’ll go tomorrow,” Elliot replies.

“You sure?” Bernie asks. “Tomorrow’s Saturday.”

Elliot is puzzled by the reminder—until his mother notes it’s the caretaker’s day off. “Or did you forget?” she jokes with him.

So the duo compromise: Elliot brings Bernie with him to the crime scene. “Mama, I’m going to re-canvas the area while I wait for the uni,” he tells her when they arrive.

Bernie praises the idea, noting, “These young detectives these days, I don’t know if they’re lazy or what, but if it’s not on a computer, they don’t want to know about it, right?”

“I love you, Mama,” an amused Elliot says with a laugh. “Stay in the car. Don’t leave.”

But will Bernie actually listen to her son? Watch the clip below…
