Michael Trotter has been cast as Joe Stabler Jr. on LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME, Give Me My Remote has confirmed.

Trotter is a familiar face to fans of the LAW & ORDER world: He played the brother of SVU’s Muncy (Molly Burnett) in season 24. Trotter previously worked with ORGANIZED CRIME star Christopher Meloni in the series UNDERGROUND. (Trotter is also married to former SVU star Jamie Gray Hyder.)

Joe Jr. is the latest Stabler to join the ORGANIZED CRIME world—and, yes, Joe Jr. is the youngest Stabler son. (Seems to be a Stabler family tradition, given that Elliot named his youngest son Elliot Jr.—albeit at his now-deceased wife’s suggestion—as well.) Viewers will also meet Elliot’s older brother, Randall (Dean Norris), in the second episode of the season

Though the Stabler family has played a sizable role in ORGANIZED CRIME so far (via his mother and children), Elliot’s (Christopher Meloni) siblings had remained off-screen both on OC and during his tenure on SVU. (In SVU, he claimed he had three brothers and two sisters—it’s TBD whether the other three siblings exist on OC.)

TVLine was first to report the casting.

LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME, Season Premiere, Thursday, January 18, NBC
