Which 2014-2015 Television Trailers Are You Rewatching?

One of the best parts about the Upfronts is we traditionally get our first looks at the new shows that will be populating our television screens during the upcoming season.

Of course, the trailers aren’t always an indication of how the show will turn out — great shows have had terrible trailers, and terrible shows have looked significantly better thanks to a great trailer. But for now, there are a few trailers I’m obsessing over for the new television season.

NBC Announces 2014-2015 Schedule

Wow, NBC is shaking everything up.

The network has released its schedule, and PARKS AND REC (which will have its final season next year) is midseason TBD, THE BLACKLIST (this year’s big breakout hit) will be moving all over the schedule (and getting the post-Super Bowl spot), and the Thursday comedy block is gone. (And PARENTHOOD has officially been renewed for a final season, but that’s a little less shocking.)

NBC has ordered three new shows for the 2014-2015 season: MARRY ME (a comedy from HAPPY ENDINGS creator David Caspe and starring Casey Wilson), STATE OF AFFAIRS (starring former GREY’S ANATOMY star Katherine Heigl), and ALLEGIANCE (about a CIA analyst who discovers his parents are former Russian spies).

NBC has renewed CHICAGO FIRE, CHICAGO P.D., and GRIMM for the 2014-2015 season, and they also, officially, acknowledged that PARKS AND RECREATION will return for a seventh season.

PARKS AND RECREATION Books First Lady Michelle Obama for a Cameo

First Lady Michelle Obama will appear in the PARKS AND RECREATION season finale, NBC announced.

According to the network, “Mrs. Obama’s scene in the episode titled ‘Moving Up’ was filmed in late February in Miami where she celebrated investments in healthier out-of-school programs as part of her ‘Let’s Move’ initiative dedicated to solving the challenge of childhood obesity.”

I mean…can you imagine how Leslie Knope is going to react?!

PARKS AND RECREATION airs Thursdays at 8:30 PM on NBC.
