Things escalated on every possible level on the Thursday, April 18 episode of LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME.

As Elliot (Christopher Meloni) worked on his undercover gig at Mama Boone’s farm—which OCCB suspected was a drug front—he was given a horrifying task: burying a murdered Sam’s (Abubakr Ali) body.

Later, Elliot fought with Angus (Stephen Lang), livid that he had been forced to bury a marine…one of their own. Unfortunately for Elliot, Sam’s death wasn’t due to the group he was dealing with.

Angus confided in his mother, aka Mama Boone (Lois Smith), that “Redcoat” killed a marine. She was upset and lamented her son’s arrangement with the devil.

With it clear how upset Elliot was over having to bury someone, Angus suggested he go to a meeting…and Elliot was able to get word to Ayanna (Danielle Moné Truitt) to meet him there undercover. While in a group setting, Elliot discretely told her—via a quasi-subtle message about having to bury a team member in enemy territory—that Sam had been killed; when the duo got a brief one-on-one moment, he told her more about the location the team would be able to find him.

Angus was impressed by Elliot and showed him around to the honey portion of their farm…and more. ”This area’s for the honey,” he said. “And this…is for the money,” showcasing a secondary drug operation.

Elliot attempted to poke around after dark, but got busted by another group member, Trisha (Rivera Reese)—who actually was an ATF agent and undercover. She told him her target is Redcoat, Angus’ business partner, whom they think met overseas. The man, whose real name seems to be Julian Emery, has the darkest of the dark money. ATF is looking into him for weapons, Trisha explained, but he’s like Teflon—he cuts and runs if things get close. The duo got caught and faked an embrace. She also made it clear she wouldn’t let her cover be blown for him.

After all the drama, Angus finally saw the light and said he was done: He was paying Redcoat off and getting out of their partnership. He brought Elliot with him to the meeting, but it’s an ambush. When the duo got the upper hand, they questioned the goon, who didn’t know why they were sent to take them out.

Angus delivered a threat for the goon to deliver to his boss: Redcoat made the biggest mistake of his life and “he’s next.”

“If he wants a war, I guess I got one more in me,” Angus said to Elliot.

When they got back to the farm, Angus prepped his group for a war. “As of now, we’re on lockdown. Nobody goes in or out for any reason.”

Elliot, however, wasn’t the only Stabler in trouble. With Joe Jr. (Michael Trotter) MIA, Randall (Dean Norris) took it upon himself to investigate a keycard he found in his youngest brother’s wallet…and got himself locked up while poking around a warehouse that housed Arianto, the wine company where Joe Jr. worked.

Vargas (Tate Ellington)—who set an alert on the name “Stabler”—picked up Randall from jail. And thanks to the tech’s surveillance, OCCB was able to track the Redcoat loyalist’s car to the Arianto warehouse. An alarmed Vargas told the team about his encounter with Randall.

After OCCB searched the warehouse, Bell brought in Randall to question him about why he was at the warehouse and what was going on with Joe Jr.

But the duo got interrupted: Jet (Ainsley Seiger) told Bell the blood that was present at the warehouse was Sam’s…meaning his death was connected to Redcoat.

At everyone’s alarm and confusion, Randall asked the million-dollar question: “What does that mean?”
