GHOSTS: Rebecca Wisocky Previews the Ghosts’ Flower Dilemma and Hetty Backstory

After spending all season thinking Flower had been sucked off, the ghosts learn she’s actually trapped in a well on the Thursday, April 18 episode of GHOSTS.

“First of all, we’re all thrilled to potentially get our friend back,” Rebecca Wisocky, who plays Hetty, tells Give Me My Remote. “Much the way the ghosts miss Flower, we all miss [her portrayer] Sheila Carrasco with us so much. So the fact that she is back, albeit at the bottom of a very deep well, is good news.”

Of course, it’s not quite as simple as just reuniting with their long-missing friend. “In true GHOSTS fashion, there are some problems to solve before we can actually be reunited with her,” Wisocky teases. “And we’ll see this week whether or not we are successful—and just what it takes to get her out of that well—which as it turns out is quite a great deal.”

But that won’t be the only big moment in store. “The episode begins with a flashback to 1895, which is the year in which Hetty died—and we do at long last get to find out how Hetty died,” Wisocky previews. “And so as the episode wears on, you put together a lot of missing puzzle pieces from what exactly was going on at Woodstone Mansion in 1895. And it turns out, it was quite a lot. We fill in a whole lot of backstory…and in the process, [we] come to understand how Hetty and Flower’s predicaments are rather similar.”
