Ghosts season 3 finale preview

“Isaac’s Wedding” – Isaac’s wedding day jitters are exacerbated by the arrival of a surprise guest, on the third season finale of the CBS Original series GHOSTS, Thursday, May 2 (8:31-9:01 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. GHOSTS’ third season comes to a close on Thursday, May 2, as the spirits try to throw an unconventional wedding.

“We’re also driving toward Isaac and Nigel’s wedding,” GHOSTS star Rebecca Wisocky, who plays Hetty, tells Give Me My Remote of the appropriately titled “Isaac’s Wedding.” ”And Hetty is that wedding planner—she has so many opinions about [it]. She has so much pride and joy to be their wedding planner.”

But Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones) and Nigel (John Hartman) aren’t the only ones with a big change in store: With Pete (Richie Moriarty) now able to travel—thanks to his ghost power—he meets a new ghost on his mini-vacation.

“What the show does so well is it balances what can be heartbreaking moments with humor, and there is a lot both in my storyline in the finale but also the A-story, as a whole, for the house,”  Moriarty previews. “That [episode] is both heartbreaking, but really funny. I mean, there’s some really, really funny moments, super physical moments that I haven’t gotten to do, really, since the show started, in the finale. So that was really fun. But the finale accomplishes what this show has been able to pull off so many times in different episodes: a really nice balance of heart and humor.”

And, of course, the season will end with a shocking moment.

“Well, there’s a cliffhanger,” Wisocky says with a laugh. “And it’s not the one you got last year—but it will be similarly radical. Something will happen that has never happened before.”

GHOSTS, Thursdays, 8:30/7:30c, CBS
